TCP Viewer License and Activation
TCP Viewer can be tried before purchase. A TCP Viewer PRO license removes trial limits and registers the app on your Mac.
A product license controls TCP Viewer PRO features and update coverage. The app's source code is separately available under GPL-2.0-or-later. See Open Source for details.
1. What PRO includes

2. Activate a license
- Buy a license from the TCP Viewer website.
- Find the license key in the purchase email.
- Open TCP Viewer.
- Choose TCP Viewer → Buy TCP Viewer License….
- Select Activate, enter the key, and select Activate again.
When activation succeeds, the window reports that TCP Viewer PRO is active on this Mac. Keep your key private. You may need an internet connection when the app checks activation or update coverage.
3. Move a seat to another Mac
Remove the old Mac before activating a new one:
- On the old Mac, choose TCP Viewer → TCP Viewer License….
- Select Remove License.
- Install TCP Viewer on the new Mac and activate the same key.
If the old Mac is unavailable, open License Manager. Use the email address from your purchase to request an access link, then revoke the old device. Try activation again after the seat is free.
4. Updates and renewal
Standard and Combo licenses cover builds released during the first year after purchase. The app keeps working after that window, but a newer build may ask you to renew before PRO can be used in that build. A Lifetime Deal includes future updates and does not have this yearly update window.
You can renew from the warning shown by the app or from the pricing and renewal page.
5. Fix common activation problems
No seats available
Remove an old device in License Manager, then activate again.
This build is not covered
The app version was released after your update window. Renew the license, or install a release that was covered by your purchase.
The key is rejected or activation cannot connect
Check the key for extra spaces and confirm that the Mac is online. If the issue continues, email tcpviewer@proxyman.com with your TCP Viewer version and purchase email. Do not post your license key in a public GitHub issue.
